Barbara Anderson Hill was a Consultant to the City of Fort Myers Public Art Program from 2006-2010. She has served as juror and advisor to more than thirty state and national art competitions and public art commissions, working on public art projects with artists such as Christo and Jeanne-Claude, and Jonathan Borofsky. As an independent curator, writer and publisher, she organized exhibitions for the Tampa Museum of Art, Dunedin Fine Art Center and Florida Center for Contemporary Art.
Barbara Anderson Hill has held key leadership positions at the Florida Gulf Coast Art Center, Belleair; the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota; the Edison-Ford Winter Estates Foundation, Fort Myers and the von Liebig Art Center, Naples, where she was founding executive director and curator. Founder of Hill Fine Art Consulting, Inc., she currently serves on the board of the Florida Association of Public Art Professionals.
